Relief Sculptures

5th grade  visited the Blanton Museum of Art and learned about Ancient Greek relief sculptures; particularly the "Mourning Athena."  Students then created their own relief sculpture of a person they admire.  (Materials:  Air Dry Clay and tempera paint)
