3-D Paper Houses

First grade students read the story "The Big Orange Splot" and after creating a 2-D version of their dream house, students were able to create one in 3-D!  Students used a stencil for the template of the house, and added their own windows, doors, roof, and decorations.  Students finished their 3-D house by creating a 3-D tree out of a brown paper bag, and using tissue paper for the leaves.
