Kindergarten Figure Paintings

After learning how to use shapes to draw the human figure, Kindergarten students took their artistic skills to the next level to create a full figure self portrait drawing.  Students then learned about and used value and texture to paint a monochromatic background.

 

 

 

 

Students learned how to use shapes to draw human proportions.  They then were given toy figures to draw from observation as practice for their larger self-portrait figure paintings.
