2nd Grade Community Puppets

2nd grade students began the year by drawing a picture of a member of their community.  Students used Papier-mâché and plaster to form their puppet’s head. After drawing their facial features and adding hair, students learned basic sewing techniques to create the body of their puppet.  Students completed their puppet by adding details and props that show their role in the community.
